My PhD study's objective is to increase an understanding of how and why transitions in efficiency of payments in post-conflict societies affect economic growth and how and why this relates to newly established central banks and central banks that continued operating after conflict.
Evidence will come from case study research in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Ethiopia and Eritrea.
